I have uploaded some images to Flickr - not an onslaught by any means today, but there was the odd persistent trail, some regular contrails, and some planes left no trails. By 7pm the sky was clear and the breeze was warm - observed two planes at different altitudes on same route, within 3 mins of each other - no trails..
Cool temps here last night and this morning ... breezy ... no rain ... very dry around these parts. Very dry ground and water levels in the rivers/creeks are low for this time of year.
What a beautiful night ... the sky here is clear and a-glitter with stars - shooting one, slow moving reddish one that disappeared, and a slow moving whitish one (satellite). Being rural we got the best environment for night-sky viewing. :D
I saw and heard a plane go over at approx 9:48pm. Slow and low - travelling east to west - up the south side of the valley. I checked the flight map - only one route over us here - to Sydney. Seemed very low to be international flight. It had a very loud heavy drone.

ruapaka , i have put out inquiries a couple of times , as to whether NZers are seeing a connection between chemtrails and drought , or weather control in general
it could be very valuable to keep a record , in a folder , and duplicated , with a copy in safekeeping with a friend.
this is what i have done over this winter , and it looks like being dynamite
And still no satellite images available at Landcare - not for a while now. ???
Thanks ruapaka, I have emailed Landcare research for an explanation. The 21 november is the last image and is distorted as are the previous images. Almost as if the satelite has gone haywire. There is no mention of satelite malfunction.
Interesting photos Steve. Some sylphy looking clouds there. It seems to me the chemcrud dusters are never to far away when the sylphs come out to play :-)

Thank you for your enquiry about our NOAA reception. The problem is hardware related, somewhere in the receiver or bit-synchronizer circuitry. Unfortunately I have not had time over the last two weeks to really track it down so I want to put some time aside this week and hopefully find the problem. Last week I checked all the obvious things that can go wrong. I spent over an hour on the roof today checking connectors etc (and getting covered in oil), but nothing obvious wrong. It has just missed this afternoon's pass also, so I will now look at swapping some circuit boards.
Unfortunately the facility is made up of very old equipment which we need to provide support for ourselves. It is doubly hard to trace faults as you can only check some thing during an actual satellite pass - i.e. only a few 15 minute slots per day. The facility is not currently funded by any of our research projects so maintaining it is not a high priority. Having said that, I know many people appreciate the imagery so I will try and find the time to trace the problem.
