Man burned lighting cigarette next to leaky gas cylinder

A motorist was badly burned when a leaking LPG cylinder beside him on the front seat exploded as he lit a cigarette.

Ray Miles was able to scramble out moments before the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

The 23-year-old salesman from New Plymouth was first taken to Taranaki Base Hospital, then to Waikato Hospital's burns unit on Saturday.

He was today reported to be in a stable condition.

The explosion happened just after midnight Friday at a New Plymouth carpark.

thanks , tonggrv, i thought so too at the time , and the syntax was perfect , don't you worry about that , young feller

however , i have come to realise that MNZ is a bit too valuable a resource , to be too much diluted by voluminous distractions

i've been following your links to the 76-year old astronaut in Rwanda , and the huge dead spaceship on the dark side of the moon , containing the still-living female crew member . this astronaut also says the "weakers" of the human race are due to be killed off in 2012 , which is disturbing , and makes one hungry for more information . the astronaut doesn't seem to want money . what do you make of this?
