I just found out about this site today. It's a taxpayer funded project to create a comprehensive and visually rich resource about New Zealand, progressively added to over the next 6 years... The site is beautifully designed, truly bi-lingual and well laid out.
A feature of note for older readers - the site's text is scalable! Yes scalable. Once considered a must for web sites, more and more designers are choosing to fix the size of their text, which is often, inevitably, the smallest available. So congratulations to Te Ara and their designers on this point <clap>
