It's a mystery, Smash... At the time of his 'disappearance' he was reporting that he couldn't seem to post photos. I noted some time later that my last private message to him (on June 10th 2006) addressing the issues he had reported to me was never read. He was using a hotmail email address and, I assume, probably never routinely checked it, so wouldn't have received the message notifications either...

Perhaps he went back to the USA? He seemed to disappear from Chemtrail Centrail at around the same time...

Hmmm, that is a mystery.

Ive been unable to upload photos as well. I have also had a great deal of trouble posting on the forum, I have to make sure not to access it from the homepage or it goes haywire. It works ok if I click on a thread and go to it from there...weird!

His problem was that he was trying to upload from a website location and wasn't entering a complete URL...

Not sure why you would have trouble posting. What do you mean it 'goes haywire?' Perhaps you could PM me a more detailed description of what is happening ? What links etc do you click on when it goes haywire etc. What happens when you try to post etc...

On the homepage there are 2 links, one to the photo gallery, the other to the forum. If I click that link it starts to load the forums main page, then it dissappears, loads again and dissappears and so on and so on......It just wont load and I have to close the page, sometimes it wont even let me close the page easily.

As for the photo uploading???? I just did what Ive always done and the site rejects them...They are all resized to fit etc etc, I have no idea whats going on there.

As I said above, if I click on one of the thread links down the right side of the homepage it loads fine, I can then access the forum main page from the link at the top of the thread....Hope that makes sense.

What about if you click on the Forums link at the top of the homepage, underneath the banner? The text link to the forum that you mention is actually set up to send search engines to the static archive version of the forum and is set to redirct to the live forum - which is probably why it seems to refresh etc... Use the top link and you should be fine.

Re the Photo Gallery, the current limitations are:

Size: 1024 kbs
Pixel height maximum: 2500 pixels

Should be plenty...

Yup, top link works.

Im not going to worry about pics...they take ages on dialup...if there is something really important I will try again.

Cheers!

Thanks Lew - we try to run an open but disciplined ship here and to minimise unnecessary clutter, hopefully making for a lean format and meaningful discussion, but giving participants some room to make their points.
