We played Loose Change first and got a really good turnout (close to 100 people) and it went down very well, people clapped at the end and we ended up playing it again to perhaps half the first amount of people. Many copies were distributed and the large majority of feedback from those who saw it was very positive.
I personally was pretty surprised by that.
We then decided to play Illuminati by Chris Everard. We expected this to bomb, but ended up with a huge turnout (people had to leave because there were no seats left and all the standing room was taken). This movie got a whole different reception, at least a third of those who found a place to watch it from walked out at some point and feedback after the screening was varied. Those who did stay for the whole thing gave it a good round of applause regardless.
We thought that the last screening was going to kill the little project but we will be back on Monday 28th August 7.30pm with another film titled 'Secret Space'. Also by Everard.
The Illuminati screening was something else. Parts of the film had people laughing or scoffing, and other parts had the crowd rivetted and on occasion visibly squirming. There were several amazed faces at the end of it, a few people appeared a bit dumbstruck by it, to many different reactions to list.....

I should add we have met lots of people who are amping to talk about all this stuff we are playing and particuarly regarding 9/11 are wanting to do their part to spread information about it and work to expose the true nature of the crime.
Plenty of people have voiced their despair and anger about the sorry state of our "media" and the need for the people to circumvent it and get information out to everyone in new ways such as movie screenings and grassroots documentary making about world and close to home issues.
There seems to be plenty of people thinking this stuff through intently at present. We are hoping it goes further than what we are doing and others everywhere get into questioning and confronting issues.
