Hey all
I was flying just north of Perth today and I noticed about 11 contrails forming over the far northern suburbs in about half an hour.
I was at 12,000 feet, about where most other commercial jets would be if they were flying interstate or up north.
These contrails were very high, maybe over 35,000 feet. But what was odd is that they formed over Perth, something I have never seen before in this city and pretty much the entire state with a few exceptions.Also they were going in odd directions such as sw/ne ne/sw s/n and so on. There are no other places within hundreds/ thousands of kilometeres that could handle aicraft this big.
I know a lot of you will point out that they are C.T.'s, but these ones only lasted maybe 4 or 5 k's behind the aircraft.
Does anyone out there interested in the airforce know if there was any training or anything like that.
