Google confirmed this week that it keeps and collates individual users' search histories (http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9588_22-6034666.html?tag=nl.e622). There is a related debate raging about privacy infringement and the powers of the US federal government to subpoena such records from online service providers such as Google...
I would be very surprised if Google wasn't already selling this data to various marketing organisations.
I have noticed at times, an all too coincidental correlation between subjects or terms I have Googled and the subject lines of email spam received a short time later...
This search engine places the search hits into folders down the left side of the screen that make it a little easier to see just what came up and what catergories the hits fit into, and apparently does not record your moves...
