john/melody, i think you would be most interested if you hadn't. i haven't myself, but am becoming much more interested in pursuing.
in 1998, i was a director for a nasdaq listed computer and electronics technology company based in southern california. unfortunately, it turned out to be the most depressing, hideous work environment experienced. all of us in constant fear of the chief officers who placed targets on people's backs and performed ritualized hazing of 'select" employees, especially new directors. as a silver lining, this experience did lead to my soul searching in a way.. i had become extremely career-driven, focusing on the sordid details of money, advancement, corporate politics, marketing, and general low-energy pursuits of the human soul. i was to take a sharp turn at this juncture and realize that once outside the pyramid, life begins again. you may not like the immediate fall in material status, but let me tell you.. you gain a life.
as so often happens in my experience, folks appear when they are most needed. i befriended a contract engineer..barefoot genius type who had worked for all sorts of nasty military industrial complex companies prior to this nasty company.. he looked like a guy from zz top, and literally wore no shoes in his padded cubical farm.
one day we began discussing "baalbek" and other anomalies. he pointed me to this book, which i have never read.. i should have, but i just didn't have the time or attention span whilst making other people extremely wealthy.
anyway, i just thought about it again.. and it is on my "list of things to read" along with dozens of others..
if anyone has read this, please share your thoughts.
john/melody, my thoughts are that material in this book would be extremely useful to mysterious new zealand.

Yes we have this book in our library and have read a portion of it. I find it quite heavy going, not the sort of book one would read from cover to cover, but very compelling. We also have 'Forbidden Archaeology's Impact' which documents the scientific community's reaction to 'Forbidden Archaeology' which on the whole was fairly rabid:
Quote:
But the reaction of the scientific community was swift as they defended this challenge to their deeply held beliefs with ridicule, threats and intimidation...
Shades of the Velikovsky affair...
Gary Cook was to organise a New Zealand alternative archaeology symposium here in Auckland and Cremo was to be one of the guest speakers. We were in discussion with Gary regarding Myst NZ's involvement in the symposium, perhaps to help to advertise and to sell tickets, but certainly to have a stand there to promote the site and to especially feature the Chemtrail issue. When he eventually gets around to holding this event we would wish to be part of it. We certainly will be better prepared for the delay.
Gary told us an interesting story about Cremo during a visit to Auckland. Apparently one of the Auckland Museum's staff offered to show him an eight-foot skeleton that they have stored in a warehouse somewhere, but later abruptly cancelled the invitation, probably at the urging of a higher up.
We have a lot of stuff archived for Myst NZ, a good deal of it is in the category of "Forbidden NZ Archaeology' and there is much more out there still to be reported or revealed, a vast quantity. We have it on good authority that many anomalous discoveries are not reported to the authorities for fear that they will be removed, destroyed or censored and knowledge of them be withheld from the citizenry.
BTW, Cremo is featured in Atlantis Rising magazine every month. If you haven't seen it take a look here:
Each month they make a complete copy of the mag available as a PDF at no charge, all you have to do is register, no strings, no Spam etc. All the back issues are available also, dozens of them...

hi john,
kudos for the excellent reply. i had 'flipped through" the big book at a borders book store some years ago, and had the exact initial reaction.. "wow, this looks intense" that is why it's been on the interest list, yet placed on the back-burner.
i also appreciate the referral link to the atlantis rising webzine. most excellent.
