Dm uploaded some photos into the gallery on 10 November 2005 taken on video in October 2005. I'm interested to have some more details (if Dm could advise). For example was the craft moving consistently in one direction or moving erratically? What were the weather conditions - cool and clear? It looks like it could have been early morning - what time of day was it?

I took some photographs myself in July 2005 of a commercial plane displaying a colourful contrail after it - colourful because of the morning sun reflecting on it. It looks very similar to the photos above.

Taken at 7.24am on Friday 22 July 2005. Aircraft was flying out of Auckland, probably south-north, with a contrail after it, highlighted by the rising sun. Clear, cool morning with hardly a cloud in the sky.
