I was reading my computer mag the other day and come across this comment.

It is in NZ PC World Oct 2005 on pg 21

The article talks about the Google earth program (free download) that allows you to see the earth from above up close (in good detail in some areas

The interesting part was this

So I had a look and it seems to look quite good albeit unable to get down really low. I just thought it was a strange thing to see in a computer mag

Its interesting to look at the image resolution of the base at Waihopai when you compare it to Pine Gap.

I.e you cant see much at all...

I went for a walk past the Yuan Wang II yesterday, Wish they had an open day , there must be some serious technology on that boat...

I'd like to see a high res and current satellite pic of the Tangimoana spy base. It seems to me that it is more deeply covert and sinister than Waihopai and much more secure from prying eyes... :shock:
