Around 11:30am. Just came back from a run and noticed a single, spreading and persistent contrail heading North South, directly following the line of our street. Haven't seen any persistent contrails in these parts for a while now. But this one is on the exact same path I have seen them on before, although most of them have been the dissipating kind.
My weather info says the humidity is 67-75% for today in Auckland. On the ground out there it feels fairly warm, around 18 degrees or so.
Hi Melody , there was another this morning around 7.15 - 7.30.
I was saying to Betty the other day that things have been quiet up here so this made me chuckle on the bus this morning...
I didnt get a chance to take a photo... The Plane (trail really, as I couldnt see the aircraft) I saw seemed to be heading north or NW at a great rate of knots and it seemed too high to have taken off from Ak airport.
