An 82 year old man was dragged out of the British Labour Party conference yesterday for shouting 'nonsense' and 'liar'. "Later, Wolfgang was held by the police under the Terrorism Act when he tried to re-enter the conference." :!:

This is why so-called anti-terror laws are threat to the civil liberties of average citizens. They are widely being misused around the globe to quash dissenters. There is every indication that the misuse of them will continue and that the definitions of terror will, more and more, come to represent criticism of the government.

And this is why we need to be very aware of this process as it occurs in the UK, US and Australia - so as to be able to recognise the signs as it occurs here.
