previous article with noaa satelite imagery (in general discussion forum). there are interesting satellites here (before noaa turned down the gain) showing distinct chemtrail lines west of north island in the tasman as well as one right over the cook straight:

Yes, these are good images Hiero, especially that first one. It gives weight to the theory that spraying is done in precise locations off the coast to drift over Auckland. In this case probably with a Westerly wind behind it. As has been often stated, because flights over Auckland are relatively uncommon, any of the types of patterns seen in, say Marlborough, would risk arousing comment. So the drift method is preferred.

The random pattern featured here is sililar to others that we have seen in the Far North, the Central Plateau and has been reported from Golden Bay. All with a triangle. For satellite tracking?
