No doubt many of visitors to this forum are already aware of Operation Northwoods, a plan devised and approved by the US Joint Chiefs of staff in the early 1960s to carry out terror attacks on their own citizens and to blame the resulting murder and chaos on the Cubans, to justify and garner public support for an attack on Cuba. In light of recent events in Britain and of course, the ever-present memory of 9/11 it's worth revisiting this nefarious plot and reminding ourselves of the lengths that administration was prepared to go to to pursue an agenda. Many people in recent years, have drawn parallels between Northwoods and 9/11 and certainly with the myriad of anomalies and misinformation surrounding the September 11th WTC disaster (information widely available on many web sites dealing with the events of 2001), there is quite a case for some sort of complicity by either the US government or other powerful insider groups.
