well folks,
it's been cold and overcast here in canterbury for about 10 days.. 8-10C highs with low cloud, no wind, only patches of sun, now and then.

at noon, i was walking up the hill and finally.. a nice big blue patch of sky opening! well, not much later, i notice what looked like old trails pluming to the south of lyttelton. suddenly, an air vandal appears through the hole in the overcast and is spraying south to north over lyttelton harbour and pegasus bay toward kaikoura. this occurred at 12:05pm.. at 1:00pm, the overcast was about to clear.. the trail expanding, pluming.. and picture taken (to be posted in visitors gallery). by 1:45pm, the altostratus expands covering the sky with resulting low cloud returning.

observation: about an hour after initial spray, there were two aircraft, cessna and larger "civilian" craft, circling and s-turning over pegasus bay for about 30 minutes.. the low wing craft looked very much like the one pictured in the gallery taken by member in dunedin (doing a nosedive). has anyone else witnessed private craft milling about like this after a spray? may just be coincidental.. but just relaying the observation.

I have quite often seen aircraft flying around after chemtrails have been sprayed.
Quite often the aircraft I see, which appear as though they could be monitoring and testing the trails, are NZ Airforce CT4's. They are the noisy, single engine, bright yellow trainers. Once in a while, they take a Skyhawk out to blow out the cobwebs and I saw one about a month ago which flew into the clouds leaving a trail behind it, but I thought it was more likely to be a standard vapour trail.
I have also seen Military helicopters hovering at high altitude under chemtrails.
I have also seen an old airforce Harvard which I thought looked suspicious at the time and occationally civilian aircraft which appear as though they are paying attention to the trails and their effect.
I think there must be some awareness and participation in the chemtrail program by the NZ airforce.

Where did you say in the country you are. I thought the airforce got rid of the Skyhawks some time ago and disbanded their strike capability.

I may sound like I am sticking up for them but I would find it very unlikely they would be involved in spraying as an actual mission.

There wouldn't be enough secrecy.

They could of course be doing it without realising like what has been suggested before, i.e if the stuff is in the fuel etc

I am ex airforce but have been out of the airforce for quite a few years now

yes.. there was a low wing prop craft.. could not make out the color. it was followed by a cessna skyhawk. i would presume these craft were taking measurements (samples of the fallout) or beaming rf signals for testing purposes versus any actual spraying.

your information is corroborative. as i never advised of the type of craft, it is interesting that your observation, as well as photo evidence of the nosediving craft off otago harbour, can be corroborated.

chemtrail plotting: this particular spray plane's course, if plotted as a vector, and its course was not altered, would have put the spray plane over blenheim (near waihopai) probably at 12:20pm and if continuing on this vector, over arapawa island (source of betty's consistent reports) at around 12:25pm and further up to the west of the lower north island entering the coast near wanganui (another area of numerous north/south ct reports) around 12:45pm. if any members saw a northeast trending craft around this time today (the low cloud may have been too extensive with the easterly/southeasterly today to verify at most locations).

yet. whether the chemtrail spray planes flying this vector are military and/or commercial, this particular vector (observable from canterbury) appears to get numerous chemtrail sprays.
