Did anyone else hear the news item on the National Programme at 6am this morning (11th May)?
During the discussion regarding the 'hoax' aspect of this scare, and the checking for signs of the disease having been introduced, one MAF spokesperson referred to "aerosol" distribution of the disease.
I don't know about anyone else, but the use of that term absolutely shouted at me.
Maybe I'm biased - but it raised a question in my mind as to why the term 'aerosol' would be used.
Now I'm not privy to the wording of the letter to the PM - maybe the perpetrator of this whole scare stated it was aerosol distribution - I'd like to know.
It may be a hoax - but the other worry is 'aerosol biological poisoning' idea being set abroad.
I have goats - so am very worried.

I had not heard that they used the word "aerosol"......that is mighty strange, I agree. I will be listening to Parliament and maybe we will get some more info as to just how the message was worded.
You raise a very good point....thanks for drawing it to our attention'

Interesting observation of the word "aerosol". It's good to hear about this sort of reporting as we don't get to hear all the news through the various avenues all of the time. A bit here and a bit there from different people can help to keep well informed about these types of occurances.
You got to wonder if it is some person playing silly games or if there's some bigger purpose behind it.
