We recently returned from a whistle-stop tour around the top of the South Island, including a stay on Arapawa Island in the Marlborough Sounds (a whole story in itself, which we will get to soon). On the return drive home from Wellington we had an experience that has dramatically changed the way we perceive chemtrail behaviour in New Zealand.
Over a nine hour period, we observed aircraft 'contrails' laid down out to sea off the west coast in the Foxton area, watched the resulting aerosols expand into huge spreading clouds and followed these formations, continually growing, for hundreds of kilometres across the country, until they outdistanced us somewhere over the Northern Bay of Plenty/Coromandel area.
From having witnessed them being formed, starting out as thin parallel pinstripes in the sky, to finally losing sight of them hours and hours later, we had seen these trails travel around 350kms, and they were still going strong.
During this marathon chase North, we kept the trails constantly in sight, tracking their growing size and changing shapes and documenting their progress photographically. At one point (just outside Taihape), on what began as a beautiful cloudless day, every cloud formation we could see in the sky had begun as emissions from behind an aircraft.
By this stage, the trails had evolved into massive cirrus clouds. Anyone stepping outside for the first time seeing these things would, no doubt, hardly believe that these 'clouds' could have started out life as aircraft emissions. Yet that is exactly how they eventuated - we had seen it with our own eyes.
Many times over the last year or two we have walked outside to see to clouds extremely reminiscent of spreading chemtrails sitting benignly over Auckland. We have even photographed them. We have steadfastly maintained our policy of "if you don't see them being formed, you can't be sure that they are not just 'normal' clouds"... And this still remains relevant.
However, as a result of what we witnessed, we are more convinced that many of those suspect formations could well have been mutating aircraft trails and could have travelled hundreds of kilometres, either North, South, East or West, depending on the prevailing winds...
We have often wondered about the possible reasoning behind some of the spraying we have seen over places 'in the middle of nowhere'. The activity we saw over the Far North, just didn't seem to make any sense. Why do it in such an out of the way place?
Perhaps, here in New Zealand at least, in some cases, spraying is deliberately carried out in areas where the activity will not be observed or will attract minimal attention, with the intention of the prevailing winds carrying the emissions over more populated target areas.
Of course, knowing the purpose of the spraying would help in the evaluation of this theory. If it is people being targeted, then this might be quite significant. If it is geographical or some other kind of strategic consideration, then maybe there are good reasons for the spraying in remote areas that we cannot possibly figure out.
We also managed to photograph some very interesting UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) specifically related to the trail activity. Examination of our photographs on our return has shown that the activity seems to attract these 'objects' that many people suppose are observing or monitoring the spread of the trails. Of the hundreds of photographs we took on our journey, only those featuring these trails, seem to include the orb-like objects and, unlike dust or other anomalous camera oddities, these only appear in the sky and they don't superimpose from one photo to the next, as lens or CCD dust might.
In one particular series of shots, there are so many of these objects, it really made us question the reality of what we had photographed.
We are currently working on a photo essay for the gallery, documenting the chase and showing the progress of the trails across the country from beginning to end. Look out for it...
Excellent work guys. This is the first time I have read or heard of anyone "chasing" these chem clouds on any forum I have read here and overseas. All very interesting research.

The following web site has many video clips of UAP's. This particular link has videos of orbs. One shows a chemtrail being formed with an orb flying above it. You have to look closely - its a bit hard to spot.
