House Lawmakers Pass Defense Bill Posted Wednesday, December 14th, 2011 at 9:35 pm
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a $662-billion defense bill that contains a provision regarding the handling of certain terror suspects.
By a margin of 283 to 136, lawmakers Wednesday approved the measure after the White House dropped a veto threat over the provision. The bill is expected to pass the Senate and then go to President Barack Obama for his signature. Lawmakers had said revisions were made to the detainee provision in an effort to avoid the threatened veto.
The bill authorizes funding for the Defense Department and national security programs of the Energy Department. It also provides money for military personnel, weapons systems as well as operations in Iraq and Afghanistan for the fiscal year that began October 1.
The measure requires military detention, subject to a presidential waiver, for foreign al-Qaida terrorists who are captured when plotting to attack the United States. A change to the detainee provision exempts U.S. citizens, but it does not guarantee suspected terrorists, even U.S. citizens, a trial, and leaves open the possibility of indefinite detention.
The legislation would place a freeze on some aid to Pakistan until Islamabad gives assurances that it is helping fight the spread of homemade bombs, known as improvised explosive devises, or IEDs. The measure also expands sanctions in Iran.
Separately, the bill prohibits the transfer or release of Guantanamo detainees to or within the United States and prohibits the use of funds to house Guantanamo detainees in the U.S.
The White House had previously warned of a veto for any bill that challenges or constrains the president's authority to collect intelligence, incapacitate terrorists and protect the nation. The Obama administration argues that the military, law enforcement officials and intelligence agents need flexibility to act on a case-by-case basis in dealing with terror suspects.

The United States has now officially outlawed the U.S. Constitution and accepted the idea that all our citizens are potentially 'ENEMIES of the STATE.' Now each one of us must each prove that we are innocent, every single time that we make a comment or quite literally attempt to "DO ANYTHING-anything at all from thinking any thought to the failure to instantly OBEY anyone in authority: And given the level of sheer stupidity throughout government and the corporations; the things that are now being routinely demanded of us are generally completely idiotic! However 'FAILURE TO INSTANTLY COMPLY can now easily result in major physical damage or death to the person in question.
We can now be beaten, tasered, pepper-sprayed, shot or killed without any consequences for the officers who commit these crimes against the public each and every day-and this is not just during demonstrations. This is anytime, anywhere and can happen to anyone who is confronted by a uniformed-enforcer of the POLICE-STATE.
We are no longer allowed to ask any questions about anything that either the government or any corporation ever does or might be contemplating. And now there is a new technology that will become part of every routine screening process, which will soon be on the road in rolling-facilities (VIPER). This Israeli developed piece of junk will cost a fortune but supposedly will be able to measure our thought processes as well as searching our bodies for weapons. Anyone who might be "planning to do a criminal-act" (or who is maybe just ANGRY) can now be arrested for 'a crime that they have not yet committed. This is called a pre-crime or what regular people might call a THOUGHT-CRIME. Yet seemingly no one in Amerika is even remotely upset-no one that is, who still refuses to see what is going on everywhere now?
When I was a child and became very impatient with stupid people; I asked my old man what could be done. He thought for a moment and then he chuckled: "What do you do" he asked "with a Mule that simply refuses to move?" "I don't know," I mumbled sheepishly. "It's really simple" he said "You pick up a two by four and smack him right between the eyes then his attitude begins to change!"
I think that the mule is representative of the 99% today. The all too reluctant and confused 99% really needs to undergo an attitude adjustment-because they seem to be unclear about what exactly has been and will continue to happen to them if they don't begin to fight back! Many are still so quiet about these unspeakably un-American criminal acts by the government: But 'the best is yet to come,' because we still FAIL to reject to any of this!
Apparently the 99% has not figured out yet that they are all criminals; according to the government. As criminals no one can be allowed to vote. Oh, and by the way there is "NO DEMOCRACY HERE" that's just another lie, so you might as well stop screaming about what it looks like!
Also as criminals no one is qualified to have an opinion about what is best for themselves (Us actually) and besides, that is now up to the STATE, because 'we' have given them permission! So since we have a country that is HATED by its leaders, filled with people that are all criminals by government decree-we cannot be allowed to have elections anymore-because elections must benefit the real criminals behind every government, and not the lazy bums and criminals that spend their lives slaving to support the government and pay for its every illegal thought.
And since this government knows best what it needs from its slaves-this election should be CANCELED here and will instead be held next year in Tel Aviv, where the people who benefit from what this TREASONOUS government chooses to do, can directly ELECT the next Amerikan-Zionist-puppet. If anyone here objects they will simply be arrested or shot, because we are now all criminals according to the government, and as such we have no rights to anything including our lives! And since well over half of our leaders have sworn ABSOLUTE LOYALTY, not to America but to Israel- First, this would only reflect our true position as it has been all along.
It's not all bad, think of all that money that can now just go straight to the Zionistas without bothering to try and call it campaign contributions; Hell it's just BRIBES and always has been! Think how much cheaper it will be to just cut-out the middlemen? This works for me, because that would mean the end of the congress and the presidency that is now nothing more than a sock-puppet anyhow. And without these two bastions of major crime to litigate between there will of course be no more need for the courts.
"But what about the people?"
Many of the dumb-asses will continue to scream.
There are no people because there are only slaves and masters and they can manage their affairs
Without interference from a bogus government
That exists only to collect bribes anyhow.

Without the non-stop-nonsense of political charades: Television and the media might actually have to begin to tell us what the fck is going on around the world, because they will have to put something inside all that dead-air that CANCELING the US SELECTIONS will create.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness
Unalienable: not capable of being repudiated.
You don’t worship as your conscience dictates because the Bill of Rights says you can. You don’t speak your mind because of a grant from the government. You don’t defend your life, family and property because the framers saw fit to write the Second Amendment.
Most Americans hold a seventh grade civics notion that the Constitution gives us certain rights. In fact, the Bill of Rights merely sets limits on the federal government, making clear it has no power to infringe on rights we already naturally possess, or limit traditionally held privileges, such as trial by jury. Except for a few procedural rights specifically for the trial process, the Bill of Rights does not actually bestow rights.
Many framers considered a Bill of Rights unnecessary. They argued that the nature of the Constitution rendered it redundant. The Constitution itself only grants the government specified powers. Since the Constitution extends the federal government no power to establish a national religion, they argued that it wasn’t necessary to specifically prohibit it. But others felt it necessary to make explicit certain government limitations, to better protect the liberties of the people. The preamble to the Bill of Rights clarifies its purpose.
THE Conventions of a number of the States having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution.
The first eight amendments making up the Bill of Rights specify rights and privileges the federal government may not in any way abridge. It codifies protections of life liberty and property – rights each of us naturally possess – and enshrines specific privileges in the judicial system already accepted in Anglo-American law.
Finally, the Ninth Amendment makes the limiting nature of the Constitution clear.
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
The framers wanted to make sure everyone understood that the Constitution only grants the feds prescribed, specific, enumerated powers. The Ninth Amendment infers the corollary to this truth. The federal government may not exercise any powers not granted. And it makes clear that the few rights specifically highlighted in the Bill of Rights do not count as an all-inclusive list. The federal government cannot exercise ANY powers other than those granted.
Who possesses all other powers? The states and the people.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. – Tenth Amendment
It is important to understand that the Constitution does not create rights for the states or the people. It simply serves as a grant of power to, and a blueprint for, the structure of the federal government. The rights of the states and the people existed before the founding of the United States. The Bill of Rights clarifies limits on the power of the federal government. It declares “We, the people, retain our rights,” and prescribes that the creation of the federal government in no way limits the sovereignty of the states except where specified.
This may seem like an exercise in semantics, but the subtle difference in the actual intent of the Bill of Rights and the common notion that it serves as the source of rights is extremely important.
For if a government can bestow rights, a government can take them away. The Constitution was never intended to give government that kind of power. It was framed in a way to keep government from ever exercising that kind of power.
