Anyone here feel that things are shifting all around them???

It seems that the poles are truly shifting in a major way: http://www.openureyes.org.nz/blog/?q=node/3567

Hey great find, thanks smash!
I have been following this since I read Edgar Cayce then Velikovsky .. the clincher was the the discovery in the states - Scott Bogue, a geologist at Occidental College in Los Angeles and his colleague, Jonathan Glen of the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, California, went to Nevada to study a series of well-preserved lava flows. As each flow had cooled into solid rock, it preserved the orientation of the magnetic field at the time.
The two geologists found that the rocks in one particular lava flow had reoriented themselves a whopping 53 degrees in one year, suggesting that the magnetic field had changed direction at approximately one degree per week.

But those Eskimos observation are the most telling .. I think we can safely say they are NOT on the payroll of you know who.

What does it mean?
Is the end nigh?
It means the dream we have all been induced into dreaming might be nearing conclusion
:)

Yeah, I reckon the sun has shifted slightly from where it usually is this time of year, I haven't been taking measurements or anything, it is just a feeling, and winter has been noticeably absent here in Wellington this year.

Those Eskimo guys don't seem like bull$hitters to me either.

Two forces as far as I know could move the Earth apart from good sex, they are electrical, in which case I think we'd all be fried to a crisp, and gravity, which implies the close passage of a massive body, a one-off event, from which it would appear we might have stabilized
Those people have awesome voices, awesome faces!!!
It's possible they're having a joke
The magnetic shift speeding up is scary, if true....massive
The shift of the Earth's axis, one would expect to be big news, with many adjustments to be made to navigation systems
This video is hugely worth watching, I ran the second half three times; the voices and the landscape and the faces are amazing together
There should be better discussion of the difference between polar and magnetic axes, and how these might relate

Interesting subject 8)

I was thinking about this yesterday. Just a very small whiff of the random thoughts floating around this one before I shoot off again... If correct is it all as drastic as the various media sources make out? (just look at how they handle everything else!) Maybe it's something that's been going on, at various speeds etc, continuously? Maybe just because we can measure it in a lifetime we see it as something way worse than it is? Definitely seems that our average winter temperature so far this year has been a little higher than normal but in what time frame? And if the globe shifts around a little bit it could mean some temperature changes for us - higher in places, lower in others - but as ice melts at the trailing end would it not also form at the leading one. Would things "balance" out globally for the planet and the living beings just have to adapt? Anyway... yada yada yada... this discussion could go on forever because there's so many hypotheses and so much guess work as well as the usual massive onslaught of media BS & hysteria!

Will observe with interest though as always...

Coz no one knows, how can we know?
We can look at stories like this.

Magnetic minerals in 15-million-year-old rocks appear to preserve a moment when the magnetic north pole was rapidly on its way to becoming the south pole, and vice versa. Such “geomagnetic field reversals” occur every couple hundred thousand years, normally taking about 4,000 years to make the change. The Nevada rocks suggest that this particular switch happened at a remarkably fast clip.

It has increased ( sorry looked for a link to back this up can't find it now ) dramatically since the days of navigating by compass on the seven seas ooh arrgh.

some temperature changes for us

As smash pointed out about Wellies weather and here in Gisborne its the same .. i.e. no winter yet.
Makes sense if we are on a different angle to the sun the whole shibang will be changed.

If Velikovsky is to be believed then we have adapted to a hellish cataclysm or two.

This stuff is why some are drawn to imaginary friends in the sky, because it paints a picture of a random meaningless universe in which from the bum of fate comes a dump that spoils all ones personal plans to be a deep and meaningful 'someone'.

I have often wondered this of the reluctance for science to look at this stuff.
I remember when the comet wiping the dinosaur theory went from being laughed at to now the text book version of reality.
No one like the idea of living precariously on a dead lump of rock whirling uselessly through time and space.
This also explains why normally highly intelligent folks believe man is responsible for climate change - it appears to be arrogance, but really it's high octane insecurity.
The great being man is .. the great "I AM"

Anyhoo psychology aside here some various things to read;
Neat kiwi bloke
http://www.carlpetersononline.com/site/1515517/page/740676
A few different articles.
http://www.evolutionaryleaps.com/
An article about the sun doing a magnetic flip - which in a way is the big guy and it requires you reacquaint yourself with the fact that we live in a 'solar system' duh, we are all part n parcel of the sun and what it sez goes!!
http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2001/ast15feb_1/
So mainstream science can see this picture of us and the sun doing the Fox Trot the Watusi and the magnetic shuffle and yet seem blind to the fact that it's not every gazillion years these things happen???

I find this thread very interesting, the last 12 months I have had a feeling that stars have changed in the sky.In our narrow little valley you get to see only a small part of the sky,and the southern cross has not been where I am used to seeing it at all this year. And when you go outside every morning at around 4,30 you get used to seeing things in a certain place. No measurements or anything scientific here either, just a feeling.Certainly the shadows on the farm seem to be in a different place this winter too.(if you can call it winter)

Maybe the dawn of an influx of superconscious energy is flowing into us from the galactic centre?
Maybe the neocons are putting some good stuff in the water along with the flouride?
Maybe both, would be nice
