| There was a very noticable trail over Lynfield/Blockhouse Bay on October 5 2010. I noticed it at approx 11:30am. It was roughly in a North-South direction. I have seen a trail in this vicinity before - same direction. It was obvious that the trail was 'spreading out' and it was of considerable length. |

| I forgot to mention that the size and width of the trail gave me the impression that it was at quite a low altitude. Quite a lot of detail could be seen. I would describe it as a fairly solid core with 'wispy tendrils' spreading outwards. I would have reported this yesterday but I have been extremely busy. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me. |

Thanks for posting about this. Have seen trails of this description in the area before.
