This trail was laid around 6:20 pm, over the Western Hills
and Porirua. The middle section is not visible.
The prevailing northwesterlies will blow this over Wellinton and lower Hutt Valley.
Within 2 or 3 minutes the cloud bank seen in the background
Came over and obscured the trail from view:

Kia ora Valhalla - thanks for the report and your images - appreciated.
I was in Blenheim on the 25th and spotted a few PTs during the day (all N-S direction) ...I got the camera out around sunset. - see below.

| The three dark spots on your bottom picture are interesting what are your thoughts there? Only 1 minute apart and no sign of dirt or debris on the first shot. |
