I hope this email finds you really well!

My name is Ari Madrid and I'm from Mexico but I've been living in
Auckland for fourth months.
I work as a freelance producer.

Before I left Mexico me and a Sci-Fi channel team went on an
expedition into the Mayan jungle looking for ghosts, dwarfs and power
ornaments. (I absolutely loved it, there's so much magic around Mexico
and the pyramids.)
Sometimes we achieve nothing, sometimes we experienced real encounters
that leave us speechless.
We normally look for paranormal activity as well as mythical
creatures, we talk to experts and visual witnesses and finally we
spend a night on-site researching further.

The team has contacted me again, as they are looking to go to the
South Pole but first stopping in Chile or New Zealand.
I'd love them to come here, but as I'm new to the country I haven't
got a clue where to start from, so that's why I'm reaching you. You seem to be an expert on the topic and also very resourceful, I was
wondering if you'd be interested in sharing some advice.

At this stage we are just looking for interesting stories, one of
paranormal activity (way beyond a hunted house) and one of a mythical
monster or shape shifter entity in New Zealand, almost like the black
panther displayed on your website. If you can suggest me a story,
point me to the right direction or the right person I'd highly
appreciated!

Also if you would like to be considered as a witness or expert on the
subject we'll be thrilled to have you. There's no money involved but
the international coverage sure will make wonders for your website, as
it's broadcasted to 100 million people around the world.

What about the taniwha - does it exist or not that might be something to investigate. just that when it was mentioned about shape shifters that popped in my head. no smoke without fire [-o<

And there was me thinking the taniwha was just the maori version of the same "dragon" creature seen in nearly all "cultures" worldwide. Older tools of fearmongering for controlled populations or metaphors for the evil pricks that do the controlling? Maybe it's both. Take your pick or come up with your own take on it. Or maybe... we've just lost touch with the "real" world where all these things really do exist! 8)
