Water Fluoridation in the new Auckland Super City and how it affects YOU

* Meeting Topic: Water Fluoridation in the new Auckland Super City and how it affects YOU

* What is it: Open, public meeting, all citizens of the Auckland region welcome - seating for roughly 500 people available.
* Cost: Free but a gold coin donation is appreciated to cover hall hire and other meeting costs (newspaper advertising etc).
* Meeting format: There will be an opening talk from the organisers then a video presentation on fluoridation and then a short Q&A session followed by final closing thoughts from the organisers. We are also working to get Auckland Mayoral Candidates to attend and briefly present their position on the issue.
* There will be printed meeting handouts at the door but also please bring a pen and paper to take notes if you wish.
* Date: Thursday, 23rd September, 2010
* Time: 7-8PM (approx.) - meeting may run longer for those that wish to stay.
* Location: Belmont Intermediate School Hall, 188 Lake Rd, Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland. The School Hall is basically in the middle of the school grounds and we will have a footpath sign and balloons just outside the entrance to the hall to make it easier to find. Careful not to confuse Belmont Intermediate with Takapuna Grammar School, which is immediately next door (they share sports fields).
* Parking: There is car park access from Lake Rd. and from Winscombe Street

What I am asking all of you to do is get the word out about the meeting. Please tell all your friends, family, email list etc. If you run a community mailing list, please send these details out asap so people have time to plan to come to the meeting. I also need some assistance in contacting all of the various free Auckland community newspapers and community groups (residents/ratepayers groups etc) to advise them of the meeting so they can get the word out. If you can help with this, please let me know.

just a reminder for the Aucklanders, an excellent public meeting has been organised for next Thursday the 23rd of Sept on Auckland's North Shore to see a great free 30 minute film on Fluoride in your water supply and further verbal presentations including one brief one on his stance by one of the Auckland Mayoral Candidates who is against the compulsorily mass medication by adding fluoride to the Auckland town water supply.
