Could point toward a very low frequency (radio?) modulation technique being utilised that has a physical effect on the cloud vapour ...
All I am sure of is that weather modification technology was BANNED by the UN in 1977. This precludes any discussion re "oh no they cant do that because we would have been told about these achievments by our wonderful, caring overlords :? "

Those striations are VERY common around here now - would go as far as to say "daily". Some pretty crazy clouds tonight and an airforce plane (Orion?) was up there circling around amongst them quite a bit right at the time they looked their craziest. Data collection? A few minutes after seeing the airforce plane tonight I did see another plain white jet aircraft head straight up into some funny looking "mini" storm-like clouds - I didn't see it come out the other side and I looked all around for a while... Another similar aircraft headed up through them in about the same place & flightpath about 15 minutes later and I DID see that one come through the other side and head north.
