Hi All,

For those of you who are new, here is the link to the site featuring monitoring of the solar winds, the effects on the earth and on you are important.

Check it out, I go there every day, click on latest images...

Started a few hours back, quietness then suddenly strong pressure...

Really strong pressure...

Possibly from the extra flux...

Hi, you can find Plasma temp & density graphs going back several years, but the mag sim charts are possibly in the archives as well.

The pressure dropped off after 11pm last night but its still working hard at the moment, those few hours in the evening were very high pressure events, dont happen often.

Particles from the solar winds are breaking through the magnetosphere, lucky weve got that backup shield 'the atmosphere', pressure isnt high, so is an interesting reaction.

I heard a discussion on National Radio last night about the recent solar flare and the possible advent of aurora light display. It was said the flare's effects could last over the next 3 days ... and that technical problems may be a result of the flare ... I would wonder if the auto electricians on this site could relate to these effects .... if not, maybe those trails might just be easing those effects.

I personaly havn't noticed any disturbance in any of my electronic goods.
It would probably be more noticible with analogue signals, they are more susceptible to interference.

If the trails were easing the effects you might expect more interference on a sunny day ....

Should just store those images on Photobucket or similar and paste the image links in here so they don't disappear. The filesize is tiny so didn't even take me long on super slow snailpaced dialup!

High pressure right now as well, sun seems calm though, this pressure system could be coming from elsewhere.

Strange I was going to say expect a big earthquake within two weeks when that magnetosphere disturbance happened, but I thought it would be silly to say, and here we are with a big one in just under two weeks, what is it 10-12 days later maybe...

hehe good stuff Deano, a Mary Xbox indeed!
I feel compelled to mention this actually is quite a doozey for several reasons.
It is extremely rare for an eclipse and a solstice to occur on the same day, in fact it has been over 350 years.

And to add even more to the pile, the Ursid meteor shower peaks between 21:00 and 22:00 UT. Look near Ursa Major (the Big Dipper) for this display which will produce about 10-15 meteors per hour. It isn't necessarily a spectacular show as far as numbers are concerned but is known for producing bright meteors because they are somewhat larger.

The Eek Lips also forms a mathematical relationship in the sky to Jupiter and Uranus .. so we may be all carried away by a moonlight shadow.

Hopefully peace on earth will prevail but you never know, when Satan Claws is fresh from a mushroom cult, and commercial interests pressure the sheeple to spend what little they have on more 'stuff' they don't need.
It's anybodies guess :D

Looks like the pressure is normal again thank goodness, eclipse at 10pm, I dont think it would have been good timing if we were still getting blasted by the solar winds when the eclipse happens.

Some are saying that we have our Calender wrong by two years and that 21/12/2010 is actually 21/12/2012, whatever the truth this eclipse is very interesting indeed...

Quote:

The overlapping of the winter solstice and lunar eclipse holds a lot of weight for astrologers since it’s such a rare event. Astrologers view this event as a unification of all forces in our universe.

During the eclipse, the Moon, Earth, Solstice Sun and Galactic Centre will be in perfect alignment. Astrologers believe that the lunar eclipse provides a unique opening where there is an abundance of energy that we can “tune into.” The alignment of our celestial bodies, astrologically speaking, is a perfect time to bring ourselves back into alignment with our purpose and full potential, putting us back on path. Hence, the lunar eclipse is an optimum time for realizing and making changes.

Yes, it is one out the bag!
Like all events like this, it's not there on the doorstep with a card and wrapping.
We may see something physical or it maybe a 'change' of some sort, perhaps a "real" wikileak, which may change perception. Which would be a hoot to see!

I wouldn't get to fussed on that exact solstice 2012.
In fact, I think about 2012 less and less as a big deal.
But certainly I would be surprised if there is an 'event'.
Cept maybe the phony alien invasion

At least seven people have died and hundreds more were injured in a 6.5-magnitude earthquake which struck southeastern Iran, Mehr news agency reported on Tuesday.
http://www.france24.com/en/20101221-seven-dead-hundreds-injured-iran-quake

Sooooo is this something to Harrp on about or just a celestial Moondance of the seven veils?

Exactly what I was thinking when I was reading through the latest comments here after hearing about the earthquake yesterday

Great thread Deano (the hits will back me up on that)! Thanks for starting it

Interesting, I never look at stats on threads, but thanks for mentioning it Crakka! :)
So, what are to make of it all?
Well, we make nothing of speculation and all the earthquake in Iran means is;
There was an earthquake in Iran.

There is method in the madness, and order in the chaos.
In order to see the patterns and what looks like cause and effect, you need mega magnification.
Which of course we can't see from our limited tools.
However - Fractals are an example of the mulitverse operating out of our understanding.
When clever dicky Mandlebrot came up with the equation, computers were still a ways off, yet when they came along, so did the astounding image we get, and these images show an order from apparently chaotic numbers!

The long winded point of the above is that the celestial phenomena that we were quick to jump on as a "cause" appears to be, but in Astrology we never say;
"a planet caused a person / event to behave in a certain way"
It is instead seen as a 'reflection' of a point in space / time that the multiverse is manifesting.
I would rather speculate and keep looking for patterns above and below rather than adopt a mechanistic, life-is-an-accident consciousness. 8)

Also while the soap box is still intact, I would love to mention that the 2012 hype is a familiar hapuka lips scenario and it is a reminder of just how many are waiting for the axe to fall.
The mega brainbox Immanuel Velikovsky wrote a book called Mankind in Amnesia, in which he reveals how human thought and action have been shaped and molded by repressed collective memories of cosmic catastrophes that knobbled our ancestors.
Why I mention this is in this thread is because of the number of veiws - there a LOT more people aware of our position in a cosmic neighborhood, and these wonderful tools like the Monitoring utilities the mighty Deano has posted links to are showing the truth of this.
It brings even more of a spotlight on the fragility of our wonderful life of main grids, supermarkets, and dental anesthetic!
