So the next day after seeing a dirty great trail being laid across Auckland we saw this one that had just been laid looking up from West Auckland around lunchtime. Hard to say whether it had been done east-to-west or vice versa as we just missed seeing it being done but it was definitely on more of a perpendicular angle than yesterday's one by the looks...
And then a little later in the area of sky the trail drifted into we got the usual striated stuff. There was definitely lots of weird & wonderful shapes up there during the day. We've been getting tons of this kind of "cloud" up here lately...
Here's a quite impressive example of that striated stuff from 9 March 2010 over the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland although the photo doesn't really do it justice...
And how's this freaky looking trail-like "cloud" from around 6.30pm on Mon 29 March 2010 taken looking southwest from Henderson?
