This is a replacement for my earlier post - got the right size pics this time.
This split image contains two photos taken around 5:30pm 5 Jan 2010. The left photo is south of Kapiti Island. The left trails are on the northern flightpath from Wellington airport - over Porirua and south of Kapiti – The far/high trail is maybe a contrail. The near/low one appears to be a chemtrail.
In between the pics is Kapiti Island.
The right hand photo is just offshore from the Waikanae river mouth, just northward from Kapiti Island. Very low altitude.
