I realise co-incidence theorists are few & far between here but nonetheless... 8)

Just happened to watch The Avengers remake movie last Saturday night quite "by accident" with someone. We were attempting to watch a movie of our choice on another device which failed so ended up with the second-rate alternative to kill some time. I was keen to watch anyway just for the "alternative content" most people don't see :wink: Despite the obvious content re controlling the weather, I wasn't expecting quite the little snippet I observed further into the movie!!! Read on...

There is a part in the movie where Sean Connery's character crashes a meeting of all the world's representatives (kind of like a UN meeting with little plaques in front of the person showing what country they represent). He's at one end of the large room on a kind of stage/podium and announces something to the effect that it used to be God that controlled the weather but that now it was him that controlled it. Just after he says that the camera pans out past the audience and the first and only little country plaque that it quickly focusses on is Haiti!

Now go watch it for yourself and see what I mean. The way it's done "seems" odd from my perspective. Why little old Haiti of all the countries there? Why no other country plaques are shown? Why immediately after that particular dramatic part of the speech? Co-incidence?

Btw, The Avengers movie was made in 1998.
