Following on from my last post on bFM related stuff, this one should really interest everyone here! I held off till now as the podcast has only just become available.

This is from last Sunday's Breakfast Show with José Barbosa. He has a guest "reporter" on his show called Matthew Dentith, doing a slot called the Dentith Files, who attacks "conspiracy theories", usually political. To me personally Dentith comes across sounding much of the time like some classic upper class inbred twat with speech impediment et al lol! Anyway, personal opinions aside, I happened to be listening last Sunday and his article was about David Icke. I'm no massive Icke fan myself so have no opinion on his slant (I've heard it all before) but it's the way he presents his show from week to week and the way it fits in with the growing condemnation of alternative views in all media (tying it to anti-semitism, etc), especially bFM of late that interests me. Listen for the cliché methods of defining so-called "theorists" and how they come up with their hypotheses, etc.

Anyway, have a listen yourself...

Oh and at the end he recommends Wikipedia as "accurate" for a source of further information. Hmmm... ok...

The really obvious thing to me as things ramp up is how the media will pick on people they consider "extreme fringe" conspiracy theorists and lump them in with anybody having an alternative view to the media who they also call conspiracy theorists. Hence Dentith rattles on about political conspiracy theories in relation to what's happening in the world right now and then in the next show brings up Icke and basically tears him apart mentioning anti-semitism, etc and virtually projecting that Icke is completely representative of ALL conspiracy exposers. The listening general public of course are almost all completely incapable of sorting out the chafe from the wheat as they swallow this crap.

See my other Icke radio broadcast post as a balance

had to listen, what a twat! Personally I have no problem with David Icke,I think this twat Dentiths comprehension skills are pretty basic and he just likes to here himself speak.(the same could be said for David Icke but he is at least interesting)Its a pity Ickes books are so expensive as the more people read them and start looking up some of his research material the better. For example, what he says about Princess Diana changed my thinking on a lot of things. And up until I read his book I didnt really give a shite.

Hopefully you don't think I'm anti-Icke by what I've said in this thread so far (just read back). Far from it - most of his stuff has always resonated with me  In presenting the bFM view I just didn't want to sound like some kind of rabid defensive Icke fan is all. No sugar or baby cow food in mine please schadow :-)
