Greetings all
26 May ... observed several PTs (fresh and not so fresh). Most dissipated quickly. Some spread to wide wispy bands (below).
1. Southbound PT that has drifted across from regular flight path on my west - 11:43am.
2. Fresh southbound PT on regular path ... 11:45am ... this one dissipated within a couple mins. Of recent times, I have observed more PTs on this path than others. (image darkened slightly)
3. Northbound PT in process - 2:06pm. Dodging or adjusting?? Don't see this very often. (darkened)
27 May ... spent best part of day in Blenheim ... observed several northbound PT long segments being laid to west of Blenheim. Stopped at the Wairau bridge for dog run and photo op. Lot of cloud forms - busy sky. Again, most of what I observed (PTs) dissipated quickly.
4. 2:06pm - facing NW. Northbound segment hanging there.
I've taken some images of PTs observed in the valley on Thursday 28 May - yet to be transferred and sorted for posting. I'll be back .. |

| That last one is interesting - as well as the trail "shadow" it has the same colouration in the clouds nearest where the sun is as I see up here all the time now. |

| I was hoping you might have got a shot of the 2 over Nelson yesterday Ruapaka. One came across leaving a dirty big PT and another was following 2 minutes behind and left nothing.I was stuck on the tractor without the camera hoping you saw it.Must start carrying the camera again as it looks like its all go after a reasonabley quite period. |

| From where I was standing (titahi bay) there was a alot of low cloud over your area, but above that I counted 6 independant PT's at 10am extending out over the Tasman. |
