View the trailer at the link above. This is timely considering some of the conversations we have had here recently. |

That is a neat little overview of the capabilities of the "surveillance state". How scary is that ipod application? The mind boggles at the possibilities and you can be sure that the technology has been around much longer than we would be led to believe.
Adding to that Googles new tracking software that can triangulate your position using your cellphone and nearby towers and.....
Within 2 years we will be able to track each other, and then see what street a person is walking down (Streetview and Google Earth). If that is what we the public have access to, just how far does it go and what capabilities do the "spook community" and police have to track and monitor us that we dont know about? |

You'd better hide your embarrassing adult toys, coz there are no secrets
Sir David Omand, the former Whitehall security and intelligence co-ordinator, sets out a blueprint for the way the state will mine data - including travel information, phone records and emails - held by public and private bodies and admits: "Finding out other people's secrets is going to involve breaking everyday moral rules."

Whatever is in the mainstream media is not even half of the picture.
Or as BTO would say "You ain't seen nuthin' yet" |
