Thursday, 2 April
A friend and I went for a wander up Pine Valley on Thursday (2nd) - a lot of air traffic over this area. No trails of any description were seen until leaving Pine Valley and entering the Wairau Valley - last part of the day (often the case of late). Looking south there was a segment of a PT ... as we were taking photos of this, two planes from the south began start-stop PTs ... then continued north with usual contrail behaviour - (see images below)
NB: Hand held camera in cold wind ... so not the best.
1. ... 5:50pm - facing south ... the older segment - centre ... two separate trails of segments further south ... and one of the planes and its contrail - top right (brightness adjusted)
2. ... 5:53pm - facing north ... one of the 'farting' planes ...
3. ... 5:54pm - facing south ... the other plane ...
Sunday, 5 April
4. ...9:26am - facing north ... plane just disappearing over the hill tops ..
5. ... 9:38am - facing NNW ... the eastward drifting segment from above trail with a 'cirrus'? patch forming alongside (behind the cumulus puff) ... note no cirrus patches in above image taken 12 mins earlier
6. ... 9:50am - facing NNW ... 12 mins later ... slow drift eastward ... that patch of cirrus sticking with the trail segment ...
7. ... 10:39am - facing NNW ... northbound PT in the making ... a stiff breeze ... and busy cloud day ...
8. ... the same trail further south (overhead) ... notice what looks like a shadow near where trail intersects at the edge of that cloud band (upper right) ...
9. ... a few mins later ... cloud behaviour reminiscent of smashdracs video taken on top of the Whangamoa saddle ... is the cloud reacting to the PT or did the plane cut a track ?? ...
10. ... closer ...
11. ... close up of same PT - view to the north ...
12. ... same PT - standing out like the proverbials in the busy sky ...
I had one other sighting of a PT (or part thereof) ... cloud build up hindered my eye on the sky - just the odd peephole. |

Great photos again!
I'm particularly intrigued by all these shadow effects especially the perpendicular ones in your last batch pf photos. |

Photos 2 and 3 are very interesting..... Assuming that these 'aircraft' are at contrailling altitudes (ie cruise altutude), then I would expect to see the same resolution or definition on shot 3 as that which is shown on shot 2. Ie a regular looking aircraft. Shot 3 looks strange.
What do you guys think?
I have seen a photo posted elswhere (on this forum?) showing a 'boxy' type craft leaving a PT.... |

Well that was interesting, I was half way though that vid of the rather upset American gentleman.
In between profanities and getting to the good bit - I wanted to read all the comments and it cut off now I can't see it.
"This video has been removed by the user"
Unless he is editing it right now.
Can anyone else here see that vid? |

Thanks Crakka :-) ... the shadow effect .... mmmm .... something to keep an eye on.
Hi Secondfield ... re your intrigue about the second aircraft image ... yes it does look different. I have come across this before (could have been one of my earlier posts that you refer to) ... Both planes were northbound and within 60 secs of each other. I took the first (plane) image facing northward as the plane was just passing overhead of me ... the following plane was still approaching - I was facing southward when I took the photo. I tend to think that variables such as angle, reflection, etc. as well as hand held camera, may have distorted the plane's shape - or maybe not. Something else to keep an eye on.
Re the video link posted by Tonggrv ... I too am eager to find out what up with this guy and his findings .... (dial-up determines I miss out on videos unless I seek out a BB user miles from home). When the guy posted word of his discovery and how he says NWO is bullsh*t - I start nodding ... I have always had doubts ... always thought that NWO crap was just that. I'm inclined to think there are way bigger players with way bigger power. Thanks Tonggrv for the speedy informing and please keep us posted on any developments. :-) |

Nope. Wonder if it was taken down because of language. On the surface it looks a little flaky so far but interested to see where this one goes. I think this deserves it's own thread though to avert a major hijack of this one... |

darn it was pretty good too...
He suggested you look thru the view finder of a camera and near the sun you'd see a dark object.
he suggest that chemtrails are used to mask this object...
If I can dig it up someplace else I'll post it...
He did say he was coming out with pics soon and I'll relay them here...

Okay.... Well it kinda gets you thinking about yet more possible reasons for these trails and here's why for me personally...
The majority of trail activity I've seen, or others I know have seen, has been either early morning looking east or later afternoon looking west out over the Waitakere Ranges. Both of the "exact" areas where we're seeing these are right where the sun rises & sets. Coincidence? Indeed one can't make a judgment without all the fax ma'm.
While this seems pretty out there, nothing would surprise me at all.
But one comment on the Uchoob vid was "get welding mask and go look the sun"
OR of course an old school negative from the days before digi cameras.
Or anything that will let you see the sun.
I saw some super trippy looking sunspots years ago doing that.
Was gonna check the sunset tonight but it was cloudy.
So maybe tormorra. |

| Agreed, it is really out there, the images are totally unconvincing imho and I'm certainly putting no weight behind it. Just adding to the discussion with my observations BUT not all trails have fallen into this pattern so it seems a bit far-fetched at this stage... Like everything though, ewe've always gotta check it out for yours elves ay :wink: |
