An absolutely clear sky most of the sun hours .... toward the last part of day a band of cirrus forms were drifting in from the SW ... not a trail seen all day until mid sunset (keeping a watch for photo opportunity as colours were developing bla bla bla) ... I got this image below ... I also identified another older trail to the east - another suspicious band even further east ... conditions ??? been happening a bit lately - where the day is clear yet come last light and hey presto - PT action ... this is not the usual 'pattern' from my obs of this area ... I'm puzzled about this.
... 7:37pm ... facing WNW ... northbound - segmented ... not very old. (That's the moon disappearing over the ridge.)
