My glod, what a world we live in, Jonny come lately Cambelt actually had a real article with real cool stuff in it!
About poison in the skin products and more, he referred to this article

John Campbell is weird.
21st century digital boy .. try to look at his eyes in his last TV promo for his show.
His eyes are black. Thats queer man. He must be tripping out or something.
We'll thats the only excuse I'd find feasible.

... info on the dangers of what is in cosmetic products has been around for years ... no shampoo in our household for several years. You can test lipstick for lead (which most brands use) apply a bit of lippy to back of hand, or where ever, use a gold ring and rub - if it darkens there's lead. I tested a lippy from the $2 shop that a child had been given for 'play' - it turned black with little rubbing ...
Secondfield .. you not alone ... me and my other think ditto ... he's what I might term a 'git' ... annoying ... like marmite - a little goes a long way, can't watch too much of him. (giggle giggle) I'm not knocking what he does, just the way he does it.
Re the TV thing ... I'm in a shared space - so I cannot control the TV thing - only by not 'tuning in' when it is on ... but, I do catch good stuff from time to time - some educational, some informative ... the Maori channel has some good docos and movies, as does Cue + screenings of old moves and progs like The Andy Griffith Show and Lucille Ball, and much more (hilarious viewing - if not the comedy then the acting) ... good laugh - and good comparisons of a yester year. Also Stratos channel with its live news from other countries (Japan this morn - very informative stuff on influenza viruses). |

| No TV here for 3 months now,its like living in another world.Started listening to morning report on RNZ national again but it doesnt hold my attention like it did a few years back.Seems to me that all our media and journalists are bought and paid for and we are fungi.Thank god for the internet, but for how long? Re cosmetics etc, have been using hemp based body products from Pure Delight Hemp in oz.Just need to find a local cheaper product as it is good stuff. |

That is a super neat little trick ruapaka, thanks for posting! :)
We have certainly been 'lead' down the toxic path.
According to Allan Watt, in a think tank last century they were discussing how to put the sheeple into a state of zombification, with various substances, and they weren't sure what was best;
1) put it in the food chain
2) put it in the water
3) spray in from the sky
4) put it in the medicine
Then they came up with, "Oh bugar it, just do all of the above"

Isn't this evidence of how the collective mind works, I have heard this story many times - even from hard hard core couch potato square eyes, giggle box watchers, and personally I couldn't agree or have put it better myself.
I certainly feel totally blessed that there was no TV in my house when I was growing up.

Monkey men all
In business suits
Teachers and critics
All dance the poot
Are we not men?
We are Devo!
Are we not men?
D-E-V-O
Are we not pins?
We are Devo!
Are we not men?
D-E-V-O |

(and to continue from the same song)
God made man
But he used the monkey to do it
Apes in the plan
We're all here to prove it
I can walk like an ape
Talk like an ape
Do what a monkey can do
God made man
But a monkey supplied the glue |

How devolish, and I was 'whipped good' into nostalgia.
However check out Ray Davies take on things
I look out my window, but I cant see the sky
cos the air pollution is fogging up my eyes
I want to get out of this city alive
And make like an ape man
:D |

If that's true, this is truly Kinky!
Who else have we living in our midst apart from Shania Twit and Roland Gift, the guy from the Commer Doors? |

| Yeah don't go quoting me on that tho - as you can see it's all hearsay! From what I've gathered he's doing a lot of work in the UK atm. Maybe he just owns a home here like many other celebs and pops back to escape the spotlight every now & then. |
