I have been on a readathon lately ... (the festival frenzy kept me home and the rain kept me inside) ... anyways, I found something I thought might be of interest to some.

I'm posting a link to a thread about a pic taken of a UFO (unidentified) - taken in US somewhere - it's got some detail. Also, someone has posted a suggestion that the satellite collision and this craft may be linked.?? I am a lot suspicious of the collision - and reckon they (US & Russia) should go pick up all the debris. (Have you seen pics of just how littered our atmosphere(s) is - what the ...

Check out the image and see what you think ...

I actually saw that the other day when perusing another article. Interesting photos. Here's a reproduction of that article for people who don't want to go through the hassle of searching through that site (it goes to a main page and doesn't link directly) -

I was making some test pictures with a digital camera today. Below is a shot of an airplane.

A few minutes later, a white dot appeared in the sky, slowly moving westward. It seemed too high for an airplane, and I wondered whether the camera would even capture it.

When I enlarge the image, it seems to be a communications satellite or similar. The movement of the object was toward the left of the picture, so the 'front' of the object is on the left side of the photo. Can anyone identify this?

Enlarging the image a little more:

that's utterly trippy!
Alien shuttlecock? :?

Isn't fantastic now how most earthly residents are armed with image capture devices!

When I lived in Auckland in the 90s one of my youngest brothers best friends was an American guy whose father was retired from NASA. This guy worked specifically on satellite technology and said a very curious thing one day when we were discussing how satellites work and orbit, he said that there is absolutely no reason why a satellite could not be designed and built to orbit just meters above the earth's surface. He did not elaborate any further on that statement.
It does make me wonder exactly what guys like him actually DO know about physics that the rest of us don't know and aren't being told. Could what he said be a clue as to what many of the orb shaped craft people see are???
