Ok so who saw Campbell Live on Thurs evening? Funny this cos I just about never watch any TV bar a quick look at the (bogey) weather forecast on Breakfast first thing & the odd moment when I decide to do a quick "lucky dip" at the end of a long day "couching it" briefly with a hot drink!
However, it was one of those lucky dip moments when I flicked on the TV just as Campbell Live was starting last Thurs night. I kept it on because one of the articles mentioned was about a bad Met Office forecast (oh how rare!!!) that allegedly stopped people travelling to the Far North for Labour Weekend. As that article was being announced, the image on the screen behind John Campbell showed a blue sky with a few clouds, a title "The Imperfect Storm" and oh look - a very obvious persistent trail right through the middle of it! I could only laugh really given the whole nature of the article and the absolutely brazen way things are openly shown to hypnotised viewers today! Things on TV these days are just so obvious every time you turn it on - "oh look a picture of a nice 'normal' NZ sky" - yeah normal these days with trails everywhere :? Add to that big brash Bob McDavitt's usual arrogance as a weather "expert" and well...
Obviously I had no time to grab a camera and make a decent image myself so snatched this one from the TV3 Campbell Live video archive now it's up. With the usual reduced quality it looks nowhere near as clear & obvious as it did viewing the original on TV but you can see it easily. he he yeah those 'weather expert' s like him and Hector are all the same, quirky, eccentric, a touch of arrogance and a hint of madness lol :)
(If they, 'the experts', have been watching the weather and clouds as much as some of us here at Mysterious NZ have,its no wonder they are a touch mad, theres plenty of strange goings on up there)

Forgot to add that the entire clip is only just over 2 minutes long so nice and easy to watch for most people :wink:

Heh! :D Perfect CV personality summary when applying for any corporate-controlled media "resident expert" position. For any high-ranking job within the general military industrial complex just add "sadistic antipathist"...
