Kia ora

I was almost finished an earlier attempt at posting this topic - got a visitor - decided to leave the connection be - 20-30 mins later I returned and tried to submit but was prompted for password again and lost everything ... talk about bringing on a mood swing and swear words ... now I am not in such a chatty mood so this one is going to be short.

That last photo is a little freaky ay! There were some pretty amazing cloud formations over Auckland on Sunday afternoon actually after the main stuff blew away and we were left with a whole mass of whispier ones. Quite a lot of plane activity but the ones I actually went outside and saw were all low altitude commercial flights so no trails or anything.

A few weeks back though I saw one of those airforce commercial-type twin-engine jets (all white/light grey) flying quickly at kind of a low to medium altitude through a blue sky covered with large patches of whispy clouds. As it passed through you could make out a kind of "clear" trail where it passed through all the cloud as if the disturbance from the engines had disrupted the cloud in its path. That kind of spread out a bit before the clouds all blew around blending things together again in areas after about 10-15mins. Just never observed that particular thing before so it was interesting.

A Butler, post that photo please ... oh, and which Streiber book are you reffering to ??

I was out dirt bike riding all day sunday high up in the akatarawa forest, could see plenty of unusual formations plus trail activity off and on.

Sounds like It was occuring up and down the country .... weird etheric stuff taking place up above.

Wasn't gonna post this as I had no photographic evidence but this seems like the place to mention it (and sorry if it's an almost hijack of the thread!).

On Tues 29 Sept (2 weeks ago) we were travelling Auckland-bound and had just passed through Ngatea when we noticed a very strange but very clear cloud formation that to me seemed almost inexplainable in how perfectly formed it was. The quick sketch in MS Paint below shows exactly the shape we saw at the edge of a normal looking bunch of fluffy clouds on what was a fairly sunny day with mostly blue sky at that time. It was like someone had drawn it in the sky perfectly with long thin lines of cloud but we hadn't witnessed any planes around to do it and it was perfectly shaped when we first glanced over and saw it. It was quite a large formation looking towards Hamilton from Ngatea and probably lasted a good 10 minutes before it started to distort. Again, never seen anything quite like that just "appear" in the sky.

You may think I'm taking the piss looking at the diagram but I @$#&!!* you not, it really took me by surprise to see something like that so we just had to watch it till it almost drifted apart. Probably the weirdest cloud formation I've ever actually witnessed just because it was so perfectly formed!!!

Sorry Secondfield, the book was "Confirmation" not Communion ,not hard to guess old Whitley's religion with those titles! not that I have anything against Doolans being a guilt ridden failed one myself.

Keep looking up, there are amazing things happening in the sky if you take the time to see with your own eyes. Its quite incredible how many people walk around with their eyes closed to the things outside of their immediate focus.

Hi folks

Firstly, some details ...

I spent the first half of Sunday at home in the Pelorus Valley. (The first 4 images taken from home) I observed one northbound persistent trail during the morning - ref. first photo taken at 9:35am. I also observed cirrus/sylph formations appearing ... as the day rolled on these cloud forms increased .... eerie but beautiful displays – gotta wonder what the hell is happening in the atmosphere to produce these cloud formations. These cirrus(?) forms usually precede a weather front ... not on Sunday.

The other 4 images were taken in the avo – being spent harvesting pacific oysters for my oyster loving mum in Moetapu Bay, Pelorus Sounds. The 5th image posted was taken from the bay. I saw some spectacular cloud appear but was unable to get many photos. I also observed con, long, and persistent trails while at the bay. I saw many planes traveling east and west over Moetapu Bay (and Cullens Point – ref. 7th image) – no trails from these planes – they were lower altitude. I don’t often see air traffic west / east when in the Pelorus Valley. *Sundays are busy air traffic days.

The last 3 images were taken from Cullens Point on the way home around 7pm.

Hi A Butler ... no I didn’t see the trail you snapped - I’m keen as to see your photo when it is posted ...

As I type the eerie cloud formations are appearing - I think today may be similar to Sunday.

Hi Deano ... you are right about folk not looking up and wondering ‘what the ___!!’ ... I used to be one of those ... unitl about 6 years ago when someone forwarded an email about chemtrails ... since then I have developed a creak in my neck keeping an eye on the sky ... hehe.

Whenever the chance arises I flick a comment or question re anomalies in our skies – if I get an interested response I’m in and folk get an overview of theories about what we are seeing - and encouragement to think more on the subject. Can take a horse to water .... etc etc. Some folk just don’t run very deep / don’t think too much about buggar all - they don’t have a ‘bigger picture’ to contemplate , so they be the ones who think the likes of us are a bit fruity .... I would like to think these folk are a minority. Provoking thought rather than preaching will get the minds of most ticking over ... while the mind is ticking the eyes see more. If folk go away with a thought and develop that on their own (research, observations, etc ) they own their thoughts .. rather than someone telling them what to think . Asking pertinent questions is a good way to get people thinking for themselves.

I promote MNZ whenever I get the chance. :D I also recommend BariumBlues website - wide range of info, large collection of images, and heaps of links. The site owner is an American mum/housewife who, like the rest of us, is wanting answers to what is not right in our skies + + ... She has put in some serious time to find and get info out.

Uncanny sighting indeed crakka!

Today over Jhonsonville, Wellington saw a couple of short persistant trails.

Typically not the day for them here though, lots of 'normal' looking cloud about, not the wispy, patterned cirrus encountered on trail days..

Well just decided to have a quick coffee break and checked for new posts. THAT is one freaky photo alright!

I just happened to drift into a discussion about the possible use of HAARP and other technology for holographic image projection with someone last night and that discussion came straight to mind when I looked at this shot! I think we began talking about movies because the DVD player failed and we ended up sitting around talking instead of watching a film. The discussion moved into how some Hollywood directors/producers have been focussing a lot of energy (and money) on holographic media over the last few years and that this will be the next big "breakthrough" in visual entertainment for the masses :? Gee I can't wait... I used to be involved in the videogame industry at a media level a few years back so I know that holographics was being worked on a long time ago in that area. Pretty scary s_h_i_t in my opinion from what I've seen and how this technology might be used on the unaware at a highly developed level.

Yeah I was in the cab of the tractor and didnt see it until my otherwise sceptical son was waving frantically to me to look up.It was actually more freaky than the photo shows as it took a while to get my daughter to come out and photograph it.The whole family saw it live so there is 6 of us now who are wandering what the f%$@ is going on above us here in Marlborough. :?

Thats something else for sure.

The only time I have seen the trails twist like that was above mount kau kau, a major tv and radio transmitter site here in wellington. I have them on film somewhere too...this was in 2006.

It seems like there is some sort of 'directed' energy involved in this phenomonen, to cause these effects.

It may be directly physical ie a wind or thermal vortex, or electromagnetic ie non ionising radiation. Light also falls into this category. Whatever it is, there are possibly subtle (or not so subtle!) forces at work here.

Possibly a new form of science (namely physics) is being tested and or deployed for purposes not know to us.

It definately seems to be occuring regulary and with high frequency in the Marlborough region.

I know for sure the NSA (americas 'heaviest' spy agency - far more esoteric than the cia) took a serious interest in the area back in the sixties and their prescence lives on with the Waihopai base nearby.

The area has also had the highest incidents of hard core UFO sightings than the rest of NZ...
