Greetings all

I spend most of the day outside with garden work ... (good planting days next few days.)

Mostly clear skies today .. a westerly breeze. By late avo cirrus whisps / sylph forms started forming, drifting eastward ... then the cirrus cloud increased - preceding an approaching weather front. I observed contrails until the cirrus increased - I observed a long trail, ie., very long tapering, quickly dissipating trail ... later, long trails became persistent - one with a 'shadow'.

I saw a small patch of oil slick colours on the edge of a small cumulus cloud around 5:30pm.
