Here are a couple of pics I took today ... long, thin’ish persistent trails 'fringing' the weather front(s) passing through the district. We didn’t get rain until earlier this evening.
We had cloud cover for most of the day .. not a lot of aircraft observation opportunities ... got a few pics ... the cirrus hazy clouds always give a eerie look.
I used sunnies on images below.
1:08pm ..northbound persistent thin'ish trail ...long segments of lingering thin lines - not spreading.
I had just finished taking pics of the above trail being laid when I heard another plane ... 2-3 mins behind and slightly west ...
1:12pm ... northbound persistent trail being laid - remnants of previous plane's trail.
