Hey there all

One of those days today ... Wairau Valley heavily streaked with persistent trails - most lingering, spreading - usual stuff. A 'beam' / 'shadow' was visible on one trail - I observed for a few minutes - the 'shadow' changed from west to east side of the trail - a long line of 'shadow' appeared at south end of trail and continued south out of sight, but disappeared within a couple of minutes. The sun/trail movement and shadowing???? The sun was on the west side of the trail when I was observing it - there was a shadow on a patch of cirrus (or sylph) forms on the west side of the trail. Weird to me ...

No camera while in Blenheim - but when back in Pelorus Valley I got the images below. Rain has come in behind these cloud forms - warmer temps.

You are right there ruapaka,we were fencing all day and my wife was stressing at all the activity above us.Your first photo shows those curved bands of cloud.There were 2 areas in the sky like that.Also most fo the large trails seemed to move quickly northeast toward Wellington.The kids are wondering now if it was just the warmer weather yesterday causing the trails,but they still look abnormal to me.

great shots, ruapaka, how much rain came in as compared to how much might be normally expected?

the first shot is weird all right........those lines are not something you ever saw fifteen years ago, amazing that so many people don't catch on to this

the other two shots are dramatic

the first shot is like stuff we've been seeing here lately, we call it scalar clouds, when you get lines like that, sometimes cross-hatched, along with the oily look, and generally reduced rain

As far as expected rain ... we have had 24 hrs of mostly steady rain - some intermittent dryish spells then coming back in again. Creeks are roaring. River may flood. I saw headlines of heavy rain in North Island. A good dousing for the country .... :)

we've had quite good rain too, for a week or more off and on, and we've seen a few trails through holes in the overcast, but clearly not the big chempaigns of the past .....some lowflying jets audible, as usual when it's cloudy

maybe the Russians are playing with a cancelling frequency??

there is this thing happening here which i can't explain by natural causes

right now and all day there has been a patch of rain on the radae, centred just west of us, and we've been doing well, catching the edge of it off and on

this situation is almost the rule, that the clouds drop their rain out west, and almost nothing ever falls (as shown on radar) to the east of here, which is where the ground rises into the Great Dividing Range, which are accorded the status of mountains, here

according to my understanding, the ranges, in this situation should cause the rain to fall on their western slopes

these slopes are important to act as storage for the basin of the Murray, which flows along the Vic/NSW border, more or less, to Adelaide

the area in which this catchment should be, (but presently is not), functioning to gather water for this huge foodbowl, is the area more or less just to the west of the air traffic corridors from Sydney to Melbourne and vice-versa

a lot of chemtrail activity is regularly seen in the area

the water allocations along the Murray, are becoming very weird....people are paying a lot of money to retain their allocation, even though there is sometimes little or no water, and the federal govt. is making a very strong bid for full control of the water

meanwhile, vast acres of monoculture crops, lately grapevines and almonds, have been recently planted along the Murray, where any ordinary farmer would consider it financial suicide, given the chronic water shortage

whatever water these new huge farms get, will be at the expense of other farmers

if these events are not connected by a conspiracy, they give a very good impression of being so.......looks like invasion to me
