Marlborough has many vortex sites. Myself and my partner stumbled across one such specific geometric location one day at the top of the Wakamarina Valley.

At that brief moment in time that I focussed on my surroundings at this specific location everything broke up into a kaleidoscope, I kept my mouth shut (my partner was there) and moved on after about 3 min. My partner asked me while we were standing there if I was 'OK' (I thought I was having a mushroom flashback or some-such nonsense)

Later that night I was on the computer relating the experience in typed words to a mate in the USA when Sonja entered the room and saw what I had typed and then said to me that she had seen the same thing at that moment in time that day.


It was a small epiphany between the two of us.


I witnessed some crazy things happening over and within the Marlborough area and got the odd photo of it as well.

yeah i seen a few simmilar sounding tings in Kiakoura a few years back also a couple of weird flying objects around Akoroa and the rest of Banks peninsula

i need a cam update too
and more batteries lol

Interesting experience - can't say I have had anything like that happen to me.
I know the Wakamarina Valley well. When you say the 'top' of the valley - do you mean as far as you can drive or as far as you can walk? Butcher's Flat is pretty much where the road ends. The Wakamarina Valley has a lot of history - gold mining etc. Much 'raping' of the river and adjacent land for gold. Much treachery and dishonour in those days. These days isn't much different - a lot of drama happens with the valley folk (some 3rd & 4th generation folk, but most come and go) - suicides - eccentricity - aggressive behaviour - many negative and depressed people. I have a friend who believes the valley has a vibrational imbalance due to the ripping out of the gold - ie., the gold meant to be there, when removed the balance is altered. It's red-neck territory so that could explain a lot :lol: . All that aside, the valley and all other valleys around this part of the country are beautiful, pristine, and can touch your spirit - if you let them. :)

A bit off track for the topic .... get back on track - maybe ... army convoys have been seen going to end of valley. I have often wondered why - training exercises make sense - there's some pretty dense rugged terrain in the ranges 'over the back' of the valley - could be useful for jungle warfare tactics. But my suspicious streak likes to stray from that idea ... maybe there is something else going on.
