I mentioned last week back on one of the chemtrail threads about strange luminescant 'trail' type manifestations being observed at sunset directly west of the observation point(s).
This article recently reported shows an example of this as seen from Cantebury...
This also virtually occured bang on sunset. ATC (air traffic control) reported no flights in the vicinty that could have caused this.
Heres some pic's
Note the times in the sequence above reflect the almost exact time the sun sets in that particular part of NZ.
I will quote myself now from the 28th march...

Yep, Ive seen those 'band's' occur across the straight (cook) on heavy trail days as well.
On some of those same days, just on sunset, I have also witnessed very bright white 'streaks' appear either side of and above the sun as it dips below the horizon. At first glance they seem to be short contrailling aircraft, with very bright non-persistant trails behind. They appear just on sunset way out west and fly toward each other from N-S before dissappearing completely from veiw. They only linger for a minute or 3 and seem quite striking.
I have now witnessed this 3 times over the past few months always bang on sunset after the sky has been corrupted all day.
I havent been watching all sunsets though
Got some pics taken off them off Tangimoana and will post them soon. All commonsense points toward them being regular aircraft, but im not sure about this. Theres something uncanny about the timing of their appearance and the location in the sky together.
Saw it happen on tuesday night from mt vic right on sunset too. Very luminous and odd appearing.
Heres the image sequence from Tangimoana, ive just pasted the links .... so as to save time. They were quite difficult to photograph, when zoomed in on the whole camera went into white-out mode. Looking at them, they were highly luminous. I have typed descriptive notes onto the images. Taken 03 feb 2008 @ 2045pm.
I witnessed exactly the same thing on the 25th of march 08 @1925pm from mt Victoria in Wellington. The sky that day had very unusual cloud formations and 'wiggly' looking persistant trails lingering out west. I took some
pics with my cellphone but alas the 'whiteout' occured.
Now lets take a look overseas to see if this is happening.... :P
ohhh... heres one from Germany.....

What fell from the skies? Was it a comet, a spy satellite, space debris or a UFO? That's the big question for pupils of the Gadebusche grammar school. During their English course, they noticed a phenomenon in the sky: a hundred meters high smoke column and a fire-tail.
“I thought first it was a tornado, but then it started to glow and the stripe become brighter,” says 16-year-old Virginia Vater. Virginia and her classmates took out their mobile phones to photograph. Her mate, Ellee Schallhorn, said: “We were all very excited. Our teacher allowed us to walk to the windows and make photos.”
Note that the sunrise time in that part of the world for that date is approx 0815am. Almost right on sunrise...
If you follow the link above and look at the closeup image you will see a disc object to the left of the anomaly.
Edmonton Canada .... bang on sunset.....
Theres a couple of other reports on the page of similar activity. Interesting to note the one filmed by marines serving in IRAQ has now been removed.I veiwed it and found it unsettling - these guy's were completely bamboozeld by what they saw....
Maybe a trend developing here? Sunset and sunrise you ask? what the?
I remember reading in castenada books and other titles about shamanisim that during sunrise and sunset 'windows' sometimes open into other realities and dimensions due various combinations of light frequencies and geometric alignments occuring. Also, when I studied Bruce Cathies theory on the geometric placement of an atomic bomb - stating that the sun position was the final key to triggering the device (along with its gravitational exertion) - this kinda sounded plausible to me.
What are we witnessing here? rifts or rents of some sort in the space time fabric?
Youre onto something there I often see these strange sights over the coast after 5pm. Occasionaly it or they wont show up for long periods of time and then return. If they were aliens trying to get our attention, you would think they would have given up by now. There is definately something about that time of the day, they are not regular aircraft but ' something else '. God I wish I had more zoom :-)
I'm not sure that I have noted any observations of the above mentioned phenomena - with suspicion that is. I would have thought the sun's angle and the altitude of the cloud/trail/?? would have explained the luminous properties .... I'm gonna have a re-think thanks to your post ... The links and images give reason to re-think.
Here is a photo I took a couple of years ago (long story, but I do not have info on this image at this time) - sunset in Marlborough - pretty sure it was taken from somewhere near Blenheim. I have posted this to show some luminous effects at sunset .

the luminosity is not surprising given the contrast at that time of day, between light levels on the ground, and those in the troposphere...........not to say that there isn't something else causing extra luminosity, always good to keep an open mind......
the strange trajectories is another matter........seriously, and i am seriously not kidding, i think the occupants of these sunset craft, may be sightseeing........paying trillions of galactic credits for a view of an Earth sunset?........these trajectories, would they fit in with the observed behaviour that gave Bruce his big break?........moving up and down meridian lines?
those links to the reports of spheres in association with US military helicopters are interesting, also the linking of spheres to animal mutilations, and their behaviour, of hopping through space, disappearing and reappearing, without being seen in between...........
maybe the human race is losing its chance to live here, some other race is gearing up for the job which we have botched?..........can't keep our population in control, can't operate except in top gear full-on expansion, forty-five forward gears and no reverse? ? ?

i think Don Juan's point is with a view to countering the normal human reflex to make everything familiar and ordinary..............in the twilight, nothing is familiar
there does seem to be something about that line of half-light that moves around the globe
in the Islamic tradition, it is said that a minute of prayer at that particular stage of the dawn, is worth an hour any other time, and perhaps they should know, because they actually do it.........
some guy who investigated leylines reported that they double their width at dawn, for a brief time.......
i'd love to know whether that brief time would be the same in the tropics, as near the poles
Interesting indeed Steve, with the proliferation of life around the equator and the tropics in a metaphysical sense it could be equated to the 'hub' or meridian of creation. It thins out (along with temperature) the closer one gets to the poles.
The twilight time increases exponetially (not in a smooth linear fashion) the closer you get to the poles. There is also a lot less 'life' around there.
In a normal sense, thats because its bloody cold.. in a metaphysical sense... well - go figure.
There seems to be alot of clandestine / esoteric hi tech research establishments (US) based in antartica.... Could it be the 'veil between worlds' is a bit more tenuos down there due to longer twilights :o
Not many people hang around outside down there either to squizz at the sky... although one young kiwi astrophysicist did. He worked for 'Raytheon' corporation and died under mysterious circumstances in Antartica last year. There was a big issue in the paper (sundar star times) about him.
Raytheon are THE hi-tech US military contractor / developer.

there is a great concentration of biomass at high latitudes, not as much as there once was, before whaling and the decimation of krill by pollution, but still, these days, one of the highest densities of biomass on the planet is in the area of the northwest pacific seaboard of North America, and i'd venture to guess that Antarctica may not be far behind
within living memory, there was a migration of orange krill up the eastern coast of Australia, every year, which got smaller and has now diasappeared
this massive explosion of life extended all the way to the ice, and supported huge schools of whales
the tropics, though burgeoning with life on the ground, could not compare with this biomass in the days before homo sapiens suburbus supermarkus parasiticus

just thought of something, most of the year, there's no twighlight, nor dawn nor dusk, in circumpolar regions
and another thing: in some traditions, it has been said that about 40,000 years ago, the shamans, or demigods among the human race split into two camps: one lot started cities and towns, and subjected the rest of the beings on the planet to serve their own desire to be comfortable
the other lot withdrew to the hyperborean regions, and maintained a pure tradition, which has been handed down into recent times, in remote and inaccessible communities
but,in essence, i totally agree with you, that the guts of the problem is people having cold hearts !
to survive in the stressful, soulless climate of politics, or, presumably, the Raytheon heirarchy, i think you'd have to be cauterised between the waist and the neck

anecdotal evidence says that the various Antarctic bases, French, Argentinian, Russian, are friendly and hospitable towards any strangers wandering in, except the Americans, who discourage people in the strongest possible way from hanging around their patch, to the point of threatening them with violence on first sight
