My partner is at 11 weeks now (our first together) and over the past few days we have been discussing this issue.

Mary Tocco presents this probably better than anyone else I have seen in other related material. A mothers, perspective...

She is very well researched and well spoken, and to anyone out there planning families, you must see this!

First of all Congratulations!

I am a Mother of two and wish I had had more Magical 1's around when I was pregnant! So what I can tell you comes from experience. There is a good site which I will give you the link to.

As a parent in NZ vaccines are not compulsary and yes you have a choice to have some, none or all if you wish.

My gut instinct told me as a Mother that I was doing the wrong thing taking my boys for their shots. Quite frankly I didn't know any better, ignored those feelings and went ahead. I was also rail roaded like so many others into thinking that the Menegitis shots were important and necessary. Hindsight is 20/20. Thank goodness since then my eyes have been opened wide and my approach if I was to do it all again would be very different!

My older boy who is now 11 has had ongoing medical issues his whole life. They present themselves mainly as gut problems, which the medical profession mistook for kidney issues and operated on him. I could go on and on about his particular situation, needless to say it has lead me to where I am today.... informed and aware! He is really well now with the proper nutrition and supplements ie enzymes, minerals, multi vits, herbs, probiotics and Omega 3s, all organic food, no gluten.

Thinking back on the onset of his first episode where he had blood in his nappy it was about two days after some booster shots. He is a bright boy but has a "foggy Brain". Certainly not on the Autistic spectrum but does have problems grasping things at times. I believe that he has suffered a vaccination injury.

I would never try to influence your decision in anyway because the choice is yours. One I didn't really realise I had when I was going down the same path as yours.
